Maëlys Faurat

Maëlys Faurat is a talented professional basketball player and the point guard for Roanne. Her basketball journey began at the age of six in her hometown of Saint-Andéol. Over the years, she refined her skills at the Lyon Espoir Center, spending four years as part of their elite training program.

In 2022, she was instrumental in leading her team to the U18 Coupe de France final, showcasing her talent in the semifinal with an impressive 19 points and 7 assists. Later that year, Maëlys made her professional debut with ASVEL in the Ligue Féminine de Basket (LFB), where she also scored her first EuroLeague points with a memorable three-pointer on a pass from Marine Johannès.

In 2024, Maëlys embraced a new challenge by joining Roanne in NF1, continuing to bring her skill and passion to the court. Among her achievements, she proudly holds the title of U20 French Champion from 2022. Follow her journey for more incredible moments in basketball!
